looks like there are three versions now.

not real sure about having the turn signal in the headlight housing. And they kinda look funny, like I mentioned.

however, if the light output is better than the quadratecs,,,,

gonna keep researching though. Not in a hurry

thank you all.

@Rednroll Being in Michigan do the LX lights have issues with icing up? My buddy had TruckLites without heater and he mentioned how’d they ice up during snowy weather.

Many like the Pro Comp LEDs, but just so you know they are a re-branded China made LED headlights also known as Tuff Plus A0101s. You can often search around and find a vendor selling the Tuff Plus A0101s for less than the Pro Comps. The funny thing to me was that when they were originally being sold by Tuff Plus, the Wrangler elitest groups were criticizng them as cheap Chinese junk. Now that Pro Comp is sourcing the same lights from Tuff Plus, and re-branding them as Pro Comp, they are being praised by many as being the best LED lights out there, especially for the price.

In my opinion, the Best LED headlight out there now are the Mopar Factory LEDs. I'ld purchase those before ever considering the JW Speaker options at a similar price range. You can often find some great take-offs prices of the factory LEDs, Rubi-trux often sells take offs of the factory Mopars. The factory Mopars are made by Magna in the USA.

The best value LED head light are the LX-Lights sold on Amazon. I got these over 3 years ago and they've been working great. They have a great cut-off and are DOT approved. The thing that I liked about them as well is that they can be purchased seperate or with matching LED fogs. So keep that in mind when you start shopping around matching LED light colors can be a challenge. I've had none of the delay issues when switching between bright/dim mentioned with the LX-Light LEDs. Kind of surprised to hear the Q-techs have that problem, since many praise those as well.

At this time, if you Google best Jeep Wrangler LED headlight options, you'll often find the LX-Light LED listed.

If you're looking at the JW Speaker price ranges, I would definitely go with the Mopars over them. Whichever you decide to get, make sure they have the DOT stamp on the lens, indicating they are DOT approved.

I would also recommend getting the horizontal adjustment screws. The factory lights don't have a horizontal adjustment screw but it is a simple mod to add one.

LED headlights seem to be a hot topic discussion on Jeep forums which end in a lot of name calling, so good luck.

The only problem with them is during installation. There is not a different driver/passenger light, just 2 driver's side lights where there is a square plastic tab on the back of the light which notches into the square opening in the buckets. On the driver's side the square tab on the back of the light notches properly into the bucket, For the passenger's side that square tab should be on the opposite/mirror side of the light to notch into the bucket on the passenger's side but since it is not a mirror design of the driver's side light, it doesn't. So to eliminate that problem, you need to file down the little plastic square tab on the back of one of the headlight for the passenger's side to fit properly into the bucket. 30 second fix with a file. Other than that, no problems. Like I said, for the price they are hard to beat. They're essentially a good quality JW Speaker knock-off without the high price tag.

The heater feature that the Trucklites have is a nice perk, but not a necessity one in my opinion. Q-tech, now also offers a heater feature set of LEDs and JW Speaker as well. My experience has been that on my daily commutes which is typically 45 minutes one-way on the highway, I have not experienced enough accumulation during snow storms to notice any problems. The only time I have experienced accumulation where I actually noticed the lights getting dimmer, was when I was driving from the Detroit area to Traverse City which is about a 3.5 hour drive and it was snowing the entire trip. After about 2 hours of driving in constant snow is when I noticed the lights getting dim due to accumulation on the lens and at that point, I was getting tired from driving in the snow storm, I stopped off at a gas station for a hot coffee and rest stop. I then took my gloves and wiped off the snow from the lenses, and I was good for the rest of the drive. From my personal experience, I would not pay up for the heated feature but it would be more of a nice to have where it may lean me towards one light over the other if I was having troubles deciding between 2 lights of equal quality at similar prices. With more and more vehicles coming from the factory with LED headlights, I would also have to think that if accumulation was really that big of a problem, then we would see more of the factory LED lights coming with the heater feature as well.

I have sealed 7's in my JK but not sure they are still made.
I also have put in Hid Projectors dot com ones in a LJ I had and a friends LJ. They are as good as my Sealed 7's.

I have not seen Jeep's new LED's but "if"they are as good as the LED's that are in my 2016 A6 Audi I'd buy them.
That said I haven't driven my Audi yet on a bad snowing day to see if the snow melts off the headlights, it will melt on a Hid.

I've got JW Speaker headlights......they are a vast improvement over stock in my 2015 JK.....however the stock headlights in my 2014 Chevrolet Silverado High Country are better lights.....it's very noticeable when driving them back to back.....

I have the factory LED option on my 18, they are pretty good for light beam pattern. I had the truck-lites, they died right after the 3 year warranty, they started to flicker a lot, they were one of the first gens though as well. I'm planning on going to a heated LED because snow is a problem where I live, debating on the JW's or giving the truck-lites another go. The pic below I got caught in a snow storm this spring in the rockies here in Alberta, turned a 30 min drive into a 2 hour drive due to how quick the lights would build up due to the lack of heat, got to the point I was pulling over every 500ft to clear snow and couldnt do much more that 10-15mph.

I have these lights in my 2014 Willy's. Not heated, so will see how it goes this winter in NJ. The lights are very white and very bright. In particular, the fog lights do an amazing job lighting the area directly in front.

The reviews of those from the Xprite website you posted, compared to the Amazon reviews seem quite different. I don't fully trust Amazon reviews, but I trust individual vendor reviews even less.
