Can't go wrong with a K&N filter...... There's a reason they have such a good name for themselves in racing......

But put a few of these on the front end and you get a good vortex wind going into the intake.

Put magnets on your fuel lines, Use the tornado cyclone thing, drop in a K&N oil air filter also use hydro injection to raise MPG. If all this worked don't you think the engineers at Jeep would have already done this?

Don't get me wrong I love K&N air filters I have a drop in on my 2012 Mazda 6 and have had them in my past trucks and cars before. If your lucky you might get 1MPG out of it. I like them because they are reusable filter and all you need to do is re-oil them.

I've seen all this stuff before on the LSx groups and the Mustang groups. The computer just re-learns itself with in 100 miles. Anything you thought you gained the computer will over ride and put things back to the way the engineers designed it. Only thing you will gain with a K&N is the lack of need to buy another one.

I put the AFE Dry Flow drop in filter in my 12 JK, no noticeable difference, but I won't have to buy another filter, it can be cleaned with soap and water, and there's no oil to foul the MAP Sensor.

This Fellow, RoysRig has it right. Save Your Money and Flash the ECM with an upgrade.

I went with lower maintenance Dry AFE Synthetic medium filter,(no oil, no mess).
And it can be cleaned with either compressed air &/or a vacuum.

Then I switched my Oil over to Full Synthetic,(AMSOIL) might as well
go with the Best for my Lil' Red Boney.

When you do the preventive maintenance on the filter you can always pull the Sensor out and clean any oil residue off. On the other hand if you dont soak the filter with oil you wont have the problem of oil messing up the sensor in the first place.

I have an AFe on my 08, I just drove 296 miles on 14.7 gallons with 33s and 4.10s against a 35 mph headwind at 67 mph. Before the CAI on the original tires best I got was 19 mpg at 55 mph (calculated, not off the dash). Seems to have given me a noticeable improvement in mileage.

Search Craig's List for a flux capacitor. That adds at least 250 BHP.

Just sayin'
