Default Just ordered a 2.5 inch Stock Mod Rock Krawler setup... Question now

I've placed an order for the suspension setup mentioned above (the stock mod kit that includes the Bilstiens, trac bar, bump stops, etc. thru Northridge). So now my question is, with my 4 door JK being an auto transmission, am I going to see the issues that some have had with the front driveshaft getting tore up? Or any other issues I should be aware of? Been cruising the message boards and finding out more and more, and it's kind of got me worried now that I'm going to be committed to buying more parts on top of what's already included.

I ran RK 3.5 kit and had no issues at all. You should be good to go.

No one can say whether you will or won't have an issue with the drive shaft, too many variables. Just knowing that you 'might' have a problem, you are ahead of the game.

After the install, be sure to flex it out and check clearances before you get out in the boonies. If the shaft is too close to the cross-member skid, you can notch the skid, or add some washers and lower it, or whatever. As far as the joints go, you'll just have to make a habit of crawling underneath and looking as part of normal maintenance.

Thanks for the replies.

I suppose I'll see what happens!

depends on your front shock length and if you run disconnects. I have a RK 2.5" with long extended shocks and my front drive shaft came in contact with my exhaust crossover (2012 up) even running a new Dana Spicer ds I have some contact under max droop this is with shocks that are 27.2" long extended. I tried a Rancho exhaust piece but it hung down to far for my comfort level.

I've got a failing front driveshaft even with my AEV 2.5". You truly never know, mine started throwing grease a year after I installed the lift.

No upfront problems, but you will need a front drive shaft down the road.

I have the RK 2.5 also and I tore my boot the first time I took the jeep out post lift. The issue is that the front Bilsteins that RK sends with the kit are rated for a 4 inch lift, which equals amazing flex in the front end but you will tear the boot.

Wow... Even if I just stay connected with the sway bar?

you might be ok with the sway bar connected but you will really limit your ability offroad. The boot tearing is not the end of the world, I will replace the drive shaft at some point but its not a huge concern.
