Just Installed Teraflex 2.5"
I ordered the 2-door 2.5" kit along with front LCAs and a front track bar from Northridge. There is no comparison with the stock parts that were removed. The TF is WAY beefier. I was impressed with the quality, and although I'm a newbie in the forum, I've been around a while in the mud world, with trucks, atvs and dirt bikes, and have seen some garbage kits when it comes to the aftermarket. I have KM-2s on the way.
A word of caution - there is a major reason that you need 4.5" backspacing on your rims, and it's not all about the tires that will be on them. I installed everything to instructions, and the front stock tires fit just fine and cleared everything. However, the stock rear tire rim barely hit the top of the sway bar links. So, I had to move the links to the inside of the sway bar and axle bracket. I HAD to do this because my tires are in transit (I have 17" DC2's awaiting) and I have to work tomorrow
Anyway, it looks like it will be fine as long as I don't bottom out - if I do, the top of the link may brush the frame.
Here are before/after measurements with stock tires. (Sahara)
Measure from ground at center of tire - up in line with center of rim - to bottom of where fender begins to exist.
Front 36" / 39.25"
Rear 35.375" / 38.375"
I am really happy with this kit, and I drove 70 miles on little roads tonight with my windows off and it rode quiet and great.
...just gotta watch the shafts, they're next!
Thanks Northridige 4x4!
