Default Just installed 3" Terflex on my 2007 unlimited

Over the weekend I installed my 3” teraflex lift on my Rubicon unlimited and it was a pretty easy install minus a few missing parts. First question, has anybody else done this lift and found the sleeves missing (in the eyes) of the new swaybar links? The bottom eyes connect to the swaybar disconnects, but the upper eyes bolt to the swaybar and the bolts are smaller than the eyes in the sway bar links…... looks like a bushing is needed in each. I was able to fab my own sleeves for the time being, but I was wondering if this lift is supposed to ship with two sleeves?

The other thing I notice is my jeep now pulls to the left, any ideas? I centered the steering wheel and have had no issues with the stability control light coming on, but I do get a fair bit of pulling to the left. Ideas?

Default Install rear sway bar links on front sway bar with 3" lift?

I was just reading the write up on the 3" FT install on Project-JK.com and it says the following,

"Mark’s Jeep JK Wrangler is a Rubicon edition and because it has an electronic sway bar disconnect system up front, the Full Traction disconnect links should not be installed. Instead, you will need to take your old factory rear sway bar links and install them onto your front sway bar."

Won't the rear links be too long for the front sway bar even with a 3 inch lift? Aren't the old links like 11 or 12 inches long?

I have the same lift on mine and yes, ther should have been sleeves in the upper ends. My kit was missing 1 brake line relocation bracket and the rear swaybar links were too long. They sent me the right ones this week.

Great!! How long were your rear swaybar links? The ones in my kit were like 15" long. Have you had any issues with the truck pulling to the left?

The first links were 15" long and were rubbing the tires when mounted (rubbing is actually an understatement) on the outside of the bar, and rubbing the brake lines when mounted on the inside, when at full suspension flex. The new ones are about 12" long. No, I don't have any issues with it pulling to the left but others here have. I'm not sure what the problem is...

NIce, congrats on the lift. Post some pic's so we can see the finished work! I have the 3" Terraflex and pulls slightly to the left as well. Fix according to Terraflex is sterring stabalizer, should be in this weekend. I'll post an update once in and if that fixes it. It is not a bad pull, more a slight wander but still noticeable.

Default wrong link hu....

Holly smoke I got the 15" links as well. I had 1.5" spacers and figured something was up because even with them it was way to close to the tire! (34" on stock 17" rims) I will call tera tommorow about the shorter ones. I am also waiting on the brake brackets since I only got one as well. Also where and who did you get the stablizer from? Mine pulls to the left a bit as well but figured I would try the front tera track bar first. Since a stabilizer is usually not that much I might as well order one of them as well.

Any input you have would be great.

Default Renegade what PSI you running and did Tera send you new links?

Renegade, I was wondering the pressure you are running in your tires since I have 34" and 1.5 spacers as well but had some problems. Do you have a adjustable front trackbar by any chance? Also did you call Tera Directly to get the new 12" links?

I have been running 34 psi, but will be dropping that by a couple to "flatten" the contact patch a bit. I don't have the adjustable track bar, but plan aon taking some measurements to see how much the axle has been moved over before I buy one. My friend at the local 4X4 shop actually called Teraflex about the links because he was the supplier. They wanted his measurements, then called back the next day to say they were sending them. I still haven't put them on though. My friend had already modified my stock links to be 13" long and they work fine.
