Default Just Bought Zone 3" Lift...Now what?!?!

Zone Offroad Wrangler 3 Inch Suspension Lift Kit with Nitrogen Shocks J13N (07-15 Wrangler JK 4-Door) - Free Shipping

After careful consideration for a budget lift, I decided on the Zone 3" Suspension Lift with Nitro Shocks. I chose this brand over Rusty's because I like Fox and they wholly own Zone Off-road. I will someday upgrade shocks, but not anytime soon.

I am looking to order some upgrades with it but not sure what to add?!?

This is a pretty wide open question, so let me describe my Jeep:
  • I have Duratrac 315 75 16s
  • I am about to regear to 4.56
  • If I want more lift, I can always add a body lift to not impact driveshaft
  • 2015 JKU Sport S
  • I will use it as a DD. I will take it off-road when I can, and most of the offroading I will do is Outland style, not a rock crawler.

Whats included:
  • Front springs (2)
  • Rear springs (2)
  • Front Shocks (2)
  • Rear Shocks (2)
  • Front bump stop extensions (2)
  • Rear bump stop extensions (2)
  • Rear extended swaybar links (2)
  • Rear track bar bracket (1)
  • Brakeline relocation brackets (4)
  • Hardware
  • Exhaust Extension +$42.99 (from zone)

What I am considering:
  • Front Alignment Cam Locks +$9.95 (from zone)
  • Rancho RS6250B Control Arm correction Bracket - Pair +$139.99
  • Front Sway Bar Disconnects
  • Black Single Steering Stabilizer (pn# 7410 from zone) +$51.95
  • Front Adjustable Track Bar (pn# J5411 from zone) +$129.95

Do I need a Rear Adj Trackbar or does the relocation bracket work fine?

What is the difference between the Front Alignment Cam Locks, Rancho Control Arm correction bracket, and adjustable control arms?

What is needed to complete the lift?

Overall suggestions to give it a better ride with the negative "get a new lift" responses. I am on a budget, $800-1000 estimate. Please be reasonable.

Don't use alignment cams. Unless you have a bad steering stabilizer, don't replace it. If you do, there are better options.

I just ordered:

  • Superlift Re-Flex Adjustable Front Track Bar ($107.96)
  • Steering Stabilizer Fox 2.0 ($97.95)
  • Sway Bar Disconnects ($64.95)
  • Rancho RS6250B Control Arm correction Bracket ($139.99)
Total = $914.91

I think the first on your list should be front adjustable track bar. Then front adjustable control arms. That will get your jeep tracking right again and get your front geometry back, but then the LCA drop brackets will get them close.

Please do me a personal favor and don't ever get a Body lift

You can probably get by with this list. You may have a bit of bump steer, but everything should be okay.

I would recommend sending it back, do some research, and pick what you need for your jeep.

$500 for a spring lift with shocks, rear sways, rear track bracket, brake extensions and bump stops is inexpensive by an average of $250 compared to others. Figure many shocks alone cost minimum $250 for four- that means $250 for the lift kit. Have to ask yourself, where did they cut cost so they turn a profit?

I feel the same, but it's not my jeep. I would save your money on fenders and trim your stock ones. Use that money and do the lift right.
