What brackets are you going with ?
I know with Rancho's (one hole) you will
See higher caster at lower heights.
2.5" lifts end up around 5°
But it Ultimately depends in lift and current caster numbers. Im guessing 5-6° for you.

I am at 2" of lift and 3.4/3.3 caster angles. I am going with the JKS drop brackets

Theirs have 2 holes iirc.
With AEV (3 holes) each hole keeps caster in stock range 2.5/3.5/4.5" of lift.

I went with the Rancho drop brackets because they are one piece and very solid. I've smacked mine a few times already, no worries.

JKS are 1 piece as well, but are adjustable.

Adjustable seems like a benefit but its really not.
The JKS bracket has 2 holes, you prob will go with whichever sets caster higher. The Rancho brackets w/ 1 hole will set caster higher at your lift height.

Well, the thing is, with no adjustment holes, You could get too much caster, with the JKS, they are one piece, have multiple adjustment holes to set caster better, and are future proof. The second adjustment hole will be too much caster for my lift so the lower hole will be better.

5-6° is fine where you are at.

Went in for an oil change today, and inspected the front end. 3 of the tre joints are toast. Not bad tho 189,000 on the clock on them. So, Maybe that is a lot of my problem, and just never knew. Not sure.

parts wear gradually so you don't recognize there is a problem until they get bad enough then bang. I really don't see a leveling kit causing your caster to be off enough to be all over the road. Hey the good thing about either LCA or geo bracket they are both easy to install and easy to remove and either one you can sell again so ultimately you are not out very much if they don't work out.
