Default JK Mirror Relocation Brackets

Hi all,

Other than the Rugged Ridge bracket, is there anything else worth considering?

I really like the Lange Originals Quick Mirror I or Quick Mirror II and the American Outlaw Black Mirror. I know they are not relocation brackets, but it's a lot easier than taking the mirrors out of the doors every time.

I'd just go with the RR kit, then u just take your doors off and go, then u don't have to put those other mirrors on everytime

I've been on this forum for a while, and while I have no personal experience, I can attest that the people who never complain about their solution (as a whole, not individually) are those who don't opt for relocation brackets. Instead they buy Harley-Davidson motorcycle mirrors and drop them into the hinge bracket holes. They can clearly see both mirrors, and by "clearly" I mean they also don't suffer unacceptable vibration.

You can find folks who are happy with other solutions, but virtually every other solution has some complaint or another from at least a few who have tried it: Vibration, poor passenger side visibility, annoying to pull/reinstall mirror from door, poor quality (primarily corrosion problems), etc. Personally, I'm happy with my solution (Mopar driver's side bracket), but it is for only one side and sometimes I really miss that passenger's side mirror.

IOW: Are you sure you want a mirror relocation bracket (it was your question), or would you rather have a good solution to doors off mirrors? I recommend you search on Harley-Davidson if this possibility interests you.

I gotta agree with what mark said, the largest majority seem to complain about "relocation". I even tried to design and machine my own brackets, and while they came out very very good, the still didn't provide clear passenger side visibility while the doors were on.

At this point I have intentions of buying the lang quick II's , but thats just prefrence, though I would shy away from "relocating".

Thanks all for your input. I thought I had seen something new a couple of weeks back on Project-JK, just wanted to be sure I knew what worked and what doesn't.

Cheers!

I just received my Harley mirrors and they work great. I had to order them and they took about a week to be delivered. I ordered 91909-90A and 91910-90A (left and right mirrors). The come with all the need hardware.

Does anyone have the american outlaw mirror? Looks to be a pretty slick design and might even make the passenger mirror usable. I have the rugged ridge relo setup and the passenger mirror is useless.
