Default JK lift, What to get?

I am thinking on getting a 2 inch lift and was just wondering what others think on what they have installed.

Thanks,

The RC (Rough Country) 2.5" BB is actually 2.0" in the rear, 2.5" in the front. This is probably what you want, because it levels the Jeep out. In fact, if you add an after-market front bumper and winch, you may even find that sags a bit. There are other brands of 2.5" BB--Teraflex (TF) has one, too. I have the RC and will be switching to the TF 2.5" coil lift (versus BB) once I get a new rear bumper--too much sag with over-sized spare, trail rack and jerry cans. One thing I would say about the RC BB: If you do that and you off-road, get some mending brackets and extend the rear brake lines. Here are a couple pic's ...

Extend your brake lines like this ...

I went with a rubicon express basic package. I will upgrade in stages with the rubi express stuff. My rubi is both a daily driver and for offroad so i have to find something that makes both work.

I've been trying to decide which lift to get for months, finally pulled the trigger on a TF 4" lift, do some searches in the various areas of the forum, TONS of great info here. I went with TF because of their awesome support on the forums.

Default 2.5 Rough Country...

I got the 2.5 Rough Country as well, really like it. I never extended my brakelines and it is a really simple install.

If you off-road and need aggressive articulation, you really should. If not, then you'll probably be just fine.

i get the 2.5 coil+shock from TF , absolutely no regrets, it fits perfectly ans every single part is the right fit , truly bolt on , you only need to drill a 3/8 hole for the rear track bar relocation bracket

Thanks,

I am planning on either keeping the stock steelies or getting some of the stock alloy rims and running 33's.

Northridge has the TF BB or 4WD has the procomp with coils and both are 2.5 inch lifts.

My plan is to do some weekend offroading with a local club and leave her as my daily driver. i do like the stock ride and want to keep as much of that as possible.

If you are going with a coil lift go with the TF 2.5 coil spring kit.
There are a lot of pics in the Show Off threads of JKs with this lift and 33" and 35" tires.

Both the TF BB and 2.5" coil are very popular so you can get a lot of feedback.

Either Teraflex or AEV's 3.5". Either way do lower adjustable control arms and budget for a front DS if you have an auto trans.
