Just wondering, why did you start w/ the rubicon? looks like you're tearing out everything that makes it a rubicon except for the t-case.
Thats going to be an impressive rig... everything I invision for mine someday.

1. We bought the JK used for a really good price!!!!
2. We sold axles and tires to make up for some of the money put into the mods.
3. We weren't expecting to switch out the axles so soon.
4. We sold our TJ to pay for the upgrades.

Thanks!!
I think I am going to have to wait several months before I can get bumpers on there...so my winch will have to sit in the garage. Anyone want to get rid of their LOD bumper?
Once I complete all of the stuff listed here (plus the bumpers) stage 1 will be complete, and I will start saving for stage II...
Stage II will be a Hemi engine with 6 speed (I don't like autos)
I have noticed a HUGE difference in the TJ and the JK as far as quality of materials used as well as the design.
The TJ used stamped hollow steel for the control arms, the JK uses boxed tube that is much stroger with better poly type bushings. The TJs frame is much smaller than the JK allowing more flex. The TJ Rubicon axles also seem to have smaller diameter tubes than the JK rubicon axles?
I am VERY curious if anyone can tell me if it will be possible to hook up the 4x4 indicator lights and locker lights with my new Dynatrac axles? I am thinking that when I engage the ARB locker on the ProRocks I will not get the dash lights as the electrical connection was internal to the D44 on the Rubicon...I am thinking about hotwiring the rubicon locked indicator to the rocker ARB switch...so when I flip the switch the dash light comes on. The only downfall to this is if the ARB fails to engage the light will still come on because the light is tied into the switch and not the locker.
Has anyone else done an axle swap on a rubicon and been sucessful in getting the dash lights to work?
