That looks great. It is a lot like what I built using Viair, however my tank has no skid.

With a train horn, the important factors are how quickly you can deliver air to the horn from the tank, and how big the tank is.

Optimally you want at least a couple gallon tank that is at 120+ psi with a 1/2" feeder hose to the horn valve. The number of compressors makes little difference as the horn is normally not on for more than just a second or less. My horn empties a 2.5 gal tank in just 5 or 6 seconds. Nobody is jackass enough to get blasted for longer than that.

I am interested in that tank and skid. How many gallons is the tank, and are the pictures from a 2 door or 4 door Jeep. Also, does it mount where the evap is?

EDIT

Just answered my own Q's from the website. 2.8 Gallon tank, JKU only, $849 MSRP. Choke-gag-hack...
Also it looks like it goes in front of the Evap.

By the way. I looked at their horn system for the JK. With the horn mounted under the Jeep between the frame rails, how do you keep mud out of the horn bell?

Any photos of what you made? Working on a system myself and haven't sorted out what to build yet. I do like what OP has holding/protecting tank and would love to see more detailed photos of it/ measurements

Here are some pics. My tank is not well protected. It has gotten a few dings. River Raider used to make a skid for it but I think it is discontinued. The compressor is mounted to the brake master cylinder and all the plumbing is dressed in. Currently I am only running 2 of the 4 train horn bells. I had to remove to to fit the cold air intake.

This setup from Kleinn looks like a good alternative that is protected. Getting the compressor out of the engine compartment is a very good thing because it gets too hot under there. However I am not sure about putting the horn bells down there under the vehicle will work well for long. I can just imagine standing along side of the Jeep when a horn full of mud is blasted out at my feet by 120 psi.

One of the things I noticed about this setup, from the photos on the website, is that there are 3 holes on the top of the bracket that look like they mirror the Evap mounting bracket. If Kleinn can confirm that then this means that the setup could be used on a 2 door Jeep if the Evap is relocated with something like the Rock Hard Evap relocation kit.

For me, that would be the bomb. If I could get past the price. Sorry for hijacking your thread OP.

I'm planning on fabbing something similar that uses the Evap location as hard points. Once I relocate the Evap I'll have the old skid to use as a template and build from there.

I was recently chosen as a product tester for kleinn automotives new on board air kit for the jk. i got the kit installed and it works great. now all im waiting for is the air horn kit to come out so i can get my horns put on. the kit has the ability to run dual compressors which i plan on getting if the kit doesnt put out enough air like i want but thats to be determined.
this looks similar to something im working on making for mine, any chance you have better photos of the mount without the lower half installed? and the lower half out of the vehicle? it looks like you dont have your Evap relocated so Where are you bolting up to??

Thanks!
