Default Jk-8 independance

Anyone have any first hand experience looking at, building or using a mopar jk-8 conversion? I've got a friend that's considering it!

What do you want to know about it? The dealership my wife works at built one, and sold it to Kelly Clarkson. It was a very nice kit.

He wanted to know how complicated the build would be. Should any dealer with a body shop be up for the job? Did your dealership do the bolt on or weld on version? I've heard the kit is sorely lacking on interior details. I read that in a JP article.
I also wanted to know what jeep recommends for bed payload capacity.

That shouldn't change from the specs in the original owner's manual.

X2. It should be the same, and the gvw should stay the same as well.

Just wait a bit and order one new. They are having discussions on offering it completely built from the factory.

Yeah, it's red. The only thing I didn't like was they color matched the front bumper.
