Do rock crawlers really carry extra gas?

True, major rock crawling would be hazardous. I don't do much rock crawling on my trips. I do remove the cans and mount when not traveling back country.
The "Hilarious" question was I thought I had a can in the carrier upside down or something. I even went outside to check !!!!

I have never used either. But since joining the club that i'm in, we do a lot of overnight wheeling and I need to have the extra gas. I went with the Rotopax and my question is, how much do they expand with heat and if they do, should I not keep them as tight on my tire carrier when going on these overnighters? Thanks

Just vent them once a day on the trail by opening the spout to release air pressure. Changes in temp and elevation tend to expand/contract the canisters.

I went with rotopax. You could drive over these things and they'd still work fine.

Umm yeah, especially if it's a 3-4 day trip. Carrying extra fuel is never a bad thing.

Thanks for the reply. Killer setup, really like the idea of the water Rotopax on the inside tailgate. Think I might have to borrow that idea from you
