Jeep Newbie lift info
I was looking at a life for a 11' Jk. It was between a rough country 3" and a DBS 3". The question which one is better? And what added mods do I need with this? The clerk at the shop said they could be stand alone. Thanks for any help.

They are both budget friendly but the BDS is a lot better quality. I was in the same boat as you with what brand to choose. I chose the BDS over rough country from the advice of ppl on read forums and my local shop. The only extra I bought was the steering stabilizer. I found the BDS to be a lot more complete than the rough country. My next purchase will be adjustable control arms and most likely a track bar but the kit functions perfectly without them.

I put in the rough country 2 1/2" kit a year ago and have had no probs with it, I run 35s but it didnt come with any of the small stuff like break line extenders, track bar. A friend of mine went with Tera Flex and loves it

I only run 33's with mine, runs good and is one of only a few kits I could find that I didn't need wheel spacers for to run stock wheels. It's stiffer them stock but rides fantastic, especially at higher speeds. Ill post some pics for you.
