Jeep Modification on Brand New Jeep?
I am picking up a JKU Rubicon in the coming weeks and plan on getting it modified (lift, tires, bumpers, winch etc...) before I even start to use it as my daily driver. I figure it will probably be the best time to be able to sell "like new" OEM parts like wheels, tires, bumpers and other parts that are left behind.
I have read several post about ok4wd being one of the better places in NJ and will probably be sending it to them for the overhaul. Is it best to leave the Jeepstock during the break in period?
Thanks,
SS

Likely not going to know of anything significant for a while I would think like most new modifications, in this case the new engine.
As for the new Rubicon, glad you are looking into mods and such, I touched base with my dealer right away and proceeded with my lift and have had no issues getting work done when required. Maybe leave it stock for now, break it in for a little while, this will give you time to do research and really plan your mods on your new Jeep. Post plenty of pics and don't be afraid to ask questions!

2012 mod's
I bought mine and lifted it throttle spacer and gears and the dealer told me the only way it would not be under warty is if the manufacture found out. So it really is up the relationship you have with your dealer.
