My Synergy's were a little tight first few hundred miles.

You mentioned that the front track bar mount had ovaled out?

I would think that could be a major part of the problem. Tiny sloppiness in the TB can create some seriously sloppy steering as the whole axle will shift under the jeep. Excess body roll could be a symptom but is also sounds like you need new shocks.

Yeah, I welded a 1/4" steel plate to the bracket and fixed the sloppiness. It feels like a track bar problem but checked both already.

Btw, measured my pinion angle last night and it's at 0° so unless I've bent something my caster is at 6°

That's too much caster at that lift height. Esp if running a DC driveshaft.
Your front DS is at a pretty extreme angle.

It's the stock drive shaft.

So verdict would be tight ball joints and the shocks are probably causing the body roll? Any other opinions? All thoughts are welcome.

Not for long
Regardless you still have a u-joint up front at the pinion. 6* caster is pushing it.

So all this started after a wheeling trip ?

How much actual lift do you have ?

4" is about the mark where you should look into a Highsteer setup and raised roll centers.
