Jeep jk chevy 350 swap

You guys can recommend anything you want but he does live in Cali. They have very specific laws. One guy asked why an old leaky 350 ? I bet it is still the easiest and cheapest engine to install and the cheapest on parts. I have a 350 in my Jeep and I paid less for the entire Jeep with a v8 already installed for less then most prices I see quoted here just for engine replacement. Most talk about putting in a v8 but they never do. I'll bet this guy is the same and will never do it. If so inclined, you better make sure what's legal.Maybe consider one already done.

I was researching around and we have companies that will make the swap legal , meaning I will have to pay so much money that I don't have, other option is to do the swap with my buddy he is a mechanic and has a shop
But the swap will be no California legal in the other hand if you know the right people you can always pay to pass the smog lol
I talked to some people and I will save for one year maybe a bit more and go for the hemmi swap
That will be m biggest dream and accomplishment
savings will start right after I buy the lift tires and bumper by my b day in February

Probably an unwanted reply... think about a supercharger... must less costly, great power, much better weight ratios .. etc ..
my biggest dream is having a v8 jeep, hemmi swap or LSs swaps are way over my bugged (20 k plus ) I'm not saying that I will swap my engine any time soon but I'm a person that sets goals and I make them happen, well most of the times, Like having my first 2 door jk and buying a jku etc..... What would be the price for a Chevy 350 swap? I'm also in Cali so I need to deal with the smog BS .
If not what would be another cheap V8 swap Let's talk about that

Edit: I just look in to the Sprintex supercharger intercool and looks awesome!
It's 4K I may have to change my decision with the swap for 2017 in to this supercharger

Is there somewhere that would list all the pieces necessary for a 6.2 swap without a kit? What parts would you have to make yourself? Would it operate like motech kit or would it plagued with issues? Thinking of doing the swap in the next year and a half but may be sooner if my tranny or motor gives out

That would be perfect for me I love the supercharger noise lol But I have a 09 jku with auto transmission, lots of people have taken the supercharge and sold it because of how horrible works with the older jku auto trans Edit: I just look in to the Sprintex supercharger intercool and looks awesome! Sprintex still suffers from pretty bad heat soak, though they claim their glass impregnated nylon helps. Sprintex also has not dialed-in their tune for the automatic transmissions; common issue for most of the Forced Induction options.
I am between Progidy Stage II (Precison) Turbo; best power per dollar and will beat most V8s in a 1/4 mile, or the RIPP Supercharger (exponential power delivery, least heat-soak)
Sprintex is Twin-Screw Lysholm (only one for JK)
Edelbrock, Magnuson are Roots blowers
RIPP, ProCharger are Centrifugal.
Good luck
