Search for a 3.8L 6 Speed Gear Chart. Get the gearing that puts you at a good hwy RPM while cruising and still makes power during normal driving. I suggest 4.56, but take a look at the difference in RPMs at various tire sizes and compare them to stock. Find a reputable gear/off road shop to do the work and buy what they sell, most brand gears come from the same place... Based on where you live you could spend between $900 - $1400 for F&R with master install kit. If your over 50K miles I would suggest getting the master kit with your gears, the shop will know what that is and will likely recommend it.
