Jeep Badge Horror
#11
I have a 2012 JK that's been blacked out.
A few months ago I bought a new badge, got my local garage to scuff it up and apply some matt black paint....two months later it's all peeled off.
Tomorrow I have a new chrome badge arriving. What lasts longer bedliner, plastidip or something else?
Can't stand the chrome!
Also, I live in the UK so none of this stuff is available here - I'll have to get it off ebay.

I'm off to find a company that does this.
Thanks very much

scuff it with some scotchbrite pads, use self-etching primer and then 3-4 light coats of paint. I've done tons of chrome this way and it never is an issue. the side badges on my MINI were chrome and had it two years, no issues
