Default Jeep 4" Factory Lift? Lifetime Warranty with 35's YEP!!!

I just found out today from the Jeep Dealer in Fruitland Park, Florida
if I buy my Lift from them and let them install it, they will give me
a LIFETIME WARRANTY on my Drivetrain!!!
4" parts and Labor $2,170

1st let me say, I already have a Lifetime Warranty on my Drivetrain.
If I buy the Lift from them and let them install it, I can put 35's on it
and they will also Honor the Lifetime Warranty and put it in writing!!!

Maybe Im skeptical, but didn't mama always say, if it sounds too good to be true, it might be?

"So let me get this straight," as the service manager at the stealer derives his scheming of words on getting out of it. "You took it OFF road???"

Just messing with you, if its in writing, i would be jumping all over it as well. Sounds like a dealer with there customer service lined up correctly, congrats

It is a business, not a charity. Your estimate is probably very close.

A long arm kit ...

if it's in writing - I'd jump on it - any issues they have to repair and make it right so even if it's a cheap lift, they have to fix it correct?

Um, yeah, right. Ask them if Chrysler ok'd this and they'd back it. Let's say they did put SOMETHING in writing, Mopar performance parts ARE NOT covered under any kind or warranty period(if they're referring to a mopar lift). Soooo...... let the bullshit commence on there side. If they want to do the lift, have them write up what they're gonna cover IF you get their lift AND also their guarantee that this will be honored at ANY dealership you may have to bring it to if for instance you are out of town when something goes wrong. Post that up on here before you believe the bullshit they sling. Don't get me wrong, there are mod friendly dealers, but if your outta town and something happens, most dealerships will tell you to pound sand and DC will too.

the dealership can only help you so far. I have a friend who blew the motor in his hemi ram at 80K miles, keep in mind he was covered under warranty until 100K. He had been a repeat customer there for years, and they said no problem sir we'll just order you a new engine and have it back to you in a couple weeks. Well chrysler doesnt like handing out hemis, so they sent a regional warranty rep out and he said there was sludge in the engine and because my friend couldnt produce proof that he followed the recommended oil change schedule while using a quality oil they were denying the dealers claim for the motor. Now if this had been a couple hundred dollar part the dealer may have eaten the cost to keep the relationship good with my friend, but a $6,000 (or whatever it is) engine. "Sorry sir it is out of our hands". The people at your dealership may eat the cost of a ball joint or something but if your tranny goes, will they eat that cost if chrysler shuts it down, I don't know. Thats what you need to watch out for, You may be better off lifting it yourself and banking the extra cash as insurance if something does break. Just my $.02 good luck with whatever you choose though.

Just thought of something else too, if that dealer goes under (and you just never know these days) chances are another dealer wont honor the previous dealers warranty

I'd get some details on what lift they are planning to install. Chances are, its a very cheap lift. My dealer wanted $6500 for a 3.5 in lift. I laughed at them.
