Default je reel driveshafts? a few opinions wanted

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

today i called je reel driveshafts for some info. the guy i talked to insisted i needed to run 1350 u joints. i do want to get rid of the CV joints in favor of a cardan joint and full u joint driveshaft but di really need the 1350 u joints? i figured i would just get the 1310 and be ok. when i do wheel i wheel pretty hard but i don t think i do it hard enough to use the bigger u joints. now i haven t talked to b-mo to see what he has available, but to get them straight from je reel they want $625 a piece for the 1350 driveshafts. this is also changing the yolks at the transfer case and axle. i do want to do that for sure and not just run adapters to make the driveshaft fit. what are some of your points on this?

I keep wondering if I should've gone with the 1350's instead of the 1310's, but oh well. PM me your email address and I'll turn you on to some places with much lower prices.

I don't have the JE reels, but I do have 1310's with the adapters and no problems so far. One of the advantages of the adapters is that if I break, it will be easy to put the stockers back on to get me home.

Default Which Driveshafts for 3" lift

O.K. so both my front and rear driveshafts are shot. Knocking noise from rear and both boots cracked and leaking. Which is the best for the money. I have a 3" lift and 35's and may plan on going to 4" and 37's (one day$$) but for now I am thinking of getting the reel 1310 series front and rear drivelines on sale at off road parts for $737.00. Will these shafts work for 37's. Is this all I need? What about the teraflex driveshafts. Any thoughts.

I have JE reel 1350 HD and love it. it has not failed me at all and i't the best mod i made to this date. This setup is considerably stonger and if you do any hard off-roading then you should convert.

That's funny because when I was ordering mine from them, they recommended the 1310 HD's. I just have the front DS right now. With the 4DR and only having around 3.5" of lift, the rear isn't a concern right now.

Oh and as you can see in my sig, I'm running 35's and I do wheel it. I've been in mud, rock climbing and just got done driving down a river on slick rocks....lol

I have the 1310's and I beat the hell out of them. Hard wheeling with meaty 35's and never a DS issue.
