JE REEL drive shafts
I just purchased the rockcrawler 3.5" lift and I plan to get new drive shafts. What are the differences between the 1310 C.V. Heavy Duty shafts and the 1310 Replacement shafts? It looks like the Heavy Duty shafts have new output flange's where the replacement shaft just bolts the the existing flange. Is this correct?

The front end at the transfer case uses a new heavy duty yoke.

Or better yet....you can go the Tom Woods route and get new heavy duty flanges that the new drive shafts bolt onto.
The front end at the transfer case uses a new heavy duty yoke.
The front end at the transfer case uses a new heavy duty yoke.
How is that better?
Just to clarify The JE reel shafts come with new yokes for the axle and the t-case.

So if I have a lift and 35" tires which one would be better? I realize that the ujoint style is best but this is mostly my daily driver and with minimal offroading for right now but I do plan on taking it offroad. Here in southwest Florida, I mostly use it for mud, water, sand, and gravel trails. Should I be fine with the OE replacement?

I just like the way the Tom Woods shafts bolt directly to the flanges without ubolts or straps of any kind. The Grade 8 hardware is tough to beat.....and let's face it....Jim has been copying Tom for years now but I'd still go with Tom's stuff in a second.
