Default Jack stand suggestions?

Looking to purchase some new jack stands for my 08 JK. Any recommendations, or insight on what weight stand I should be looking for? Thanks

Tractor supply has some useful jack stands that have a bottle jack built into them. I bought 2 of those. I think they were 29.99.

^^This, I love these and they are compact/convenient. just remember that after the stand is at a proper height to back off the pressure to the jack so the weight is securely on the stand it'self . . . same as you would a normal jack.

The tallest and beefiest stands you can find.

I am much happier with the 24" tall 6-tons from harbor freight than the 16" tall 3-tons they replaced. And even if you don't need the extra height, you will feel safer underneath a 24" stand only raised to 16" than under a 16" stand raised to full height...

absolutely. I first bought the 3 ton stands for my jku and it looked all spindly up on them so I took them back and got the 6 ton ones. 2 sets jku completely off the ground and solid as a rock. Sure they 3tons probably would work but I figured my comfort level wrenching underneat it raised off the ground was worth a few extra dollars. the 6 tons are like $30 a set wtih a coupon that can be found in any off road magazine
