Default J/K coils on TJ possible?

My wife has a '12 jku sport. I'm not sure of the coil size but its the base model with 29" tires. She is a jeep girl and wants to lift it a little to fit 32-33's. My TJ rubs a little at full lock. I know about BB, spacers etc.

So my thought is buy the new coils for her and use the take offs to lift my TJ. Does anyone know if the coils will fit correctly?

FYI I think jk and jkus can clear 32s stock. At least that's what my 13 JKU came with.

I thought it was only rubicon a or ones with taller coils. I thought that's why non-rubicon guys wanted the rubi take offs.

From what I remember between the two, I am pretty sure the rears are different in width.

Still fairly new to the Jeep world, but is an adapter I could get to make it fit?

The jk coils are quite a bit longer as well as being a different diameter and have a totally different spring rate. I would think they would give you a pretty stiff ride if you can get them to mount.

But if you can fab anything is possible.

You can also fit 32" narrow tires on the JK with the stock coils. If you do a 12.5" wide tire you will need wheel spacers. The factory rubicon's and sahara's with 18" wheels are 32" tires.

Any jk can run 32's stock. Also, rubicons are no taller than a sport or Sarah

I thought they were rated based on height. Ie. rubi is 60/19. 60 is stiffness and 19 was height. Good to know. Thanks.

they are rated on the weight they carry, not height.
