Question Interco Super Swamper LTB

Ok... not another wheel and tire post.

What I drive: 09 X
Currently siting on 255/75R17

I am thinking about getting the Interco Super Swamper LTB 33x13.50R16

My worry is the 13.5 width. I will be getting wheels to go with the tires, but do not understand offset and backspacing as clearly as I should. Also, would like recommendations on wheel width. The tires will be mostly off-road use (no daily driver) but will be used on the hy-way to get from home to mud.... Also will be airing down and do not want to "break the bead"...

So the wheel I've looked at is the "Rock Crawlwer Series 52" ...specs are:
16x10, 5 on 5 bolt pattern, backspace = 3.75 in, max load 1600 lbs..

Let the comments and opinions roll in.....

My guess is that those tires will gobble up your fenders (and maybe even front bumper) off road.

I don't think you'll get away with that setup without atleast a 2 inch lift.

Go with a small BB and an 8 inch wide wheel if it is mostly offroad. Poor mans beadlock and Im sure you can air down to 10 psi without issues. Can get some cragar or like wheels 15x8 with a 3.75 inch back spacing

Default Updated tire choice... and rims

I stumbled across this thread https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...-VS-15x8-Steel.....

And really like the wheels (rims), Mirror Machined with Silver Hole
$99.00each
$50 Web Only Savings
Diameter 15.0”
Width 8.0”
Bolt Pattern 5-127.0mm
Offset -19
Finish: Mirror Machined with Silver Hole
Machined to a mirror like surface with silver painted holes.

But Discount Tire Direct doesn't sell the tires I like. I am sold on the tread pattern of the Interco Super Swamper Line. I must admit I have not (with complete confidence) figured out which exact Interco tire will work for my '09 Jeep Wrangler X (still basically stock, with no desire to lift). I know which tread pattern I want for the type of wheeling I do. The "Super Swamper SX Tire 32x11.50-15" would be the winner if only I was guaranteed it would not rub. I do not plan on running these on the highways, I have perfectly good tires from the factory for that.

Just thought I would put this out there, see if anyone wants to chime in...

This tyre is narrow, it labled as 13.5 but when measured its 12.6, I would run a 16x8 rim.
