Default integrated hitch ratings

one of my biggest problems with puling the trigger on a rear bumper is i don't want to lose my tow rating by losing my factory hitch.

are there any rear bumpers that keep the 3500 rating??

i'm getting a PJ rear, it allows use of the factory hitch.

i'd have to check each website for the ratings though, i dont recall anyone ever asking that particular question before.

3500 pounds is not much at all as far as towing is concerned. The LOD Bumper for example is attached to the JK's frame at more points than the factory hitch. It can handle the weight of the JK in a recovery effort which is much more than 3500 pounds. I think the low towing is because of the engine and tranny not the hitch its-self.

There are alot of aftermarket bumpers that let you keep the tow package. I have the Rugged Ridge XHD.
