Default Installing sliders

I'm in the process of fabbing a set of rock rails/sliders for the JK. Right now, I'm stumped on how to mount them to the frame. On the driver's side, it's pretty straight forward and I think I have that figured out.

When I get to the pass. side, it's a different story. There aren't as many access holes in the frame, and the fuel tank runs right next to the inside of the frame, blocking access to the back side. I don't feel like dropping the fuel tank to install these. I know I could just weld them to the frame, but I want to be able to remove these easily in the future if I want to. Any ideas?

The ones I'm building are similar to the Shrockworks ones. From the pics on their site, they seem to have a bolt through the bottom of the frame on each bracket. It's not clear if that's the only bolt or not. Also, I don't think the frame is thick enough to drill and tap, and on the pass. side, there are no access holes to put in a nut or "nut plate" to run the bolt in to.

Any help?

Maybe this pic will help.

That is not the only bolt in the frame.

Look at the pictures and you will see the head of at least one more bolt on the top of the mount plate.

It would need these two bolts minimum to prevent movement in all directions.

I see it now. Thanks. There is room to get to the back side to put on a nut on that one, but I wonder what they did on the rest of them? The gas tank and skid prevent you from doing this on the rear mounts.

Did you only use the one bolt per bracket? How are they holding up? I'm sure that'd hold up as a step, but probably not for what I'll do to it

I'm not sure about mounting them, but remember the JK's body is actually on a curve. its not even close to be straight.. Just thaught I'd pass that on if you didnt notice.
