Default installing rear shocks

Getting ready to install my lift and wondering why some lifted jk's have the rear shocks mounted one way and others are flipped. On the front I always see the resevior side on bottom but the rear I see it mounted both ways. Which is right, or is one way better over the other?

BTW...installing Bilstein 5100's.

It all depends on the mfg. My bilsteins are upside down in the rear. It doesn't make any difference. They should only mount one way.
