Default Installing LOD Bumper

So, I realize that the install isn't quite as easy as it would be on an 06 model for front bumpers, but how involved is the front bumpers on the 07 JK? Doesn't look very simple, but I hope I'm wrong about that.

How about the rear bumpers without the tire carrier? Very involved or easy?

I just have the front. It took more time to get the stock bumper off, without breaking anything than it did to put the LoD on.

I had a lot of trouble but it went fairly quick. To sum it all up...

1. those plastic factory screws pissed me off so I just starting pulling stuff apart till it broke. ...20 minutes

2. Once I got all the factory stuff off I installed the bumper... (note the warn 9.5ti must be installed after the bumper) ...15 minutes

3. Installed fairlead and then tried to install the winch which to my suprise would not fit without bending in the grill. ...15 minutes

4. Took the bumper off and installed 4 spacers from the factory bumper that moved the bumper out about 1/4 inch. Reinstalled the bumper, then installed the winch. ...30-45 minutes

5. Wired the fog lights up. ...10 minutes

Done.

Those freakin plastic screws holding the airdam on bite! I would just get the drill out right off the bat and have your way with'em.

For everyone removing those plastic screws, the trick to those is dont try and unscrew them. They arent really screws. Just take a drywall screw and hand turn the screw a couple turns into the top of the plastic screw/plug and pull straight up.

Thanks to Hip2u77 for this one!

I hate those things - I just replaced all of them.
