Here's some pictures from today! I added 0.1mm to the pinion and 0.1 to the right for backlash adjustment.

I work for Dana corporation building axles. Your pattern looks perfect backlash should be .05 to .07 :thumps up on the home-made tools.

Especially the home made flange wrench. I made on simmaler but not as nice

I regeared myself as well, not an easy job especially torqueing up the pinion......wish I had seen your pictures before
