The pattern looks good to me. Be sure to run the gears for a good 15 minutes with no load on them. Then check and see if the differential is hot. If not you should be good to go.

This was mine. Don't know if it helps. It was the same coast and drive side.
Scary DIY isn't it :-)

How tough was the DIY approach. I've been quoted 2k to have it done professionally. Want to save $$$.

Very time consuming, labor intensive, and A LOT of reading, but nothing someone with a fair amount of wrench time can't do. I did mine and feel very accomplished. Just make sure and measure a lot.

I agree. This makes a huge diffrence on your pattern. I use a prybar and crescent wrench to apply load on the ring gear. Also whats your backlash?

Hello guys!

Thanks for Your opinions! I really want to be sure about the gear patterns before proceeding. I will add 0.1mm.

I did the imprints under "load". Backlash is set to 0.17mm. Changing gears is very time consuming, lucky me I have lots of spare time!

More opinions?

Best regards
Micke

Just make sure you check everything again after you crush the sleeve. If you crush it a little to far it will change everything. Sounds like you have it under control.
