Installed my Fulltraction Lift I have ???'s
A buddy of mine, his brother and I installed a 3" Budget Fulltraction lift yesterday on my Rubi.
It took awhile do to; missing nuts from the kit, misaligned holes from the kit etc... but if you do this yourselves, use the instructions and cross reference Wayoflife's write up. It was invaluble since Full tractions instructions are horrible (at best) by themselves.
Now heres my question, we recentered the steering wheel which eliminated the warning lights, but when its driving, the Jeep feels like it is kind of floating. Is this normal for a lift, will an adjustable Front Track Bar eliminate this feeling? Or does it need an alignment?

If you installed the track bar relocation bracket, try removing it and see if that helps. Although an adjustable front track bar will help out a lot, the floating feeling you are experiencing is most likely caused by your caster being close to 0° now. The best way to correct this is to install a set of adjustable upper front control arms to dial them in. Granted, you may need a set of longer fixed lenght lowers as well but you should be able to help things out a lot with just the uppers.
