Default Install aftermarket bumpers before or after a lift install?

Would it be better to install front and rear bumpers before or after a lift kit install?

Doesnt matter. I got backed into at my apartment complex when I first got my jeep and it dented my bumper so I bought front and rear bumpers before my lift. Looks silly though......

I did my lift first, then installed the bumper, winch and tire carrier. Not sure it really makes a big difference, but I wanted my JK setup first to handle the extra weight.
