Default Instaled a body lift ,shifter dont want to stay in gear

I installed a body lift on my jeep unlimited and the shifter dont wand to stay in gear. I have a manual transmission.

Did you trim the shifter boot?

yeah, what mkjeep said, you'll need to trim the inner shifter boot. see write-up below for instructions

Thank you. I had to cut the front side of the boot as well ,it freed up a little more of the tension.
