Not bad. A little nerve wracking making the first cut, but once I got over that it went fairly easy. Just take your time and don't rush. I was super anxious to see the results so I rushed through it and some of my cuts where pretty ugly from the underside. I later took the louver back off, cleaned up my cut lines, deburred some of the bracing and painted the bare metal areas. Now I'm super happy with the results.

I have a 2016 hard rock, with poison spyder crusher fenders. I daily drive it throughout Phoenix. I also do not have inner fenders. At least, none have been installed yet. I am fairly certain that few on here drive in as extreme of heat as I do. My engine has never even come close to overheating running without inner. The engine bay itself maintains about 150 degrees, even when the exterior temperature is well over 110 degrees ambient.
If you want vented, get vented. As soon as the poison spider vented inner come out, I am buying some.
Incidentally, if you want some solid inner, I have some that have never been installed for sale.

Around 14 or so
It's a heavy 2 door
The rpm's are funny, 4th gear hits 2,500 at 40, 5th gear hits 2,500 at 50 and 6th gear as well
It'll do 85 fine on fairly flat sections, but I have to downshift at hills

I guess it depends on where you live. When I wheel, sometimes I stop so I don't overheat. Running it hard in the dunes in 4wd will definitely heat things up pretty quick. Id go with vented if it were mine.
