Injecting expanding foam into the hard top?
Anybody here that injected their hard top with expandable foam? I heard from a local owner who did it that it took just over 4 liters of expandable foam, and that it made a big difference to the insulation without adding weight?

That's some pretty good stuff if you can add it without adding weight.
Anyway, I would think you should use the stuff that has low expansion. Some spray foam will exert a lot of pressure when it expands.

x2. they make that stuff in two different types...for filling cracks and for filling gaps/holes. i would use the stuff for cracks.
