IMPORTANT MESSAGE ABOUT THE P.A. body lift
This thread is about the Performance Accessories 1" body lift
Like you know, I broke a body mount bolt last week. It tooks 2 days to remove the broken part into the frame https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/modified-jk-tech-2/i-broke-body-mount-bolt-107084/
I torqued the bolts at 80 (stock torque spec.) but the bolt broke
I talked to the technical support representative of Performance Accessories and he said The 12 mounting bolts have to be torqued at 50! (NOT 80) These low quality bolts are not like the stock bolts, that's the reason.
Strangely, this information is not given in the instructions. I hope this will help.
