I was running 37s for a couple of months, with an auto and 4.10s, prior to re-gearing. It wasn't so bad and gas mileage increased over my stock 32s, but acceleration performance suffered. I went with 5.38s and gas mileage dropped considerably, but acceleration improved. If you drive primarily on-road, I would consider staying with gears which aren't quite so steep. 4.88s might be a good compromise.

If you later decide to move to 40s however, as I am considering, you might as well go for the 5.38s. I am glad I did.
