So I am finally rolling with the 5.38 gears. At 75 I am turning right at 3000rpm's. I am very pleased so far.

I am running 37's on a 09 4 door auto and i times i feel like i need someone to get behind me and give me a push... I am going to regear i am just having a a hard time making a decision on what gear to go with. I have had people tell 4.88, 5.13, 5.38 so I am not sure , Its a big investment I just want to make the right choice because this is my DD. Let us know how you like the 5.38's

You went with 5.38's on a 2012? I'm interested to hear your long term impressions. Make sure to calculate your gas mileage and let us know if you used a procal or something to set your tire size. Thanks.

Are you still running a D30? I didn't think you could get 5.38's for the D30.

But too late now.... 4.88 probably best to keep the rpm's down and best fuel mileage.

I think you're gas mileage is going to suck!!!
Curious why you went 5:38's when the advice out here was against it.... Hopefully it won't be too bad for you....

I'm running 37 trail grapplers on my 2010 auto with 4:10's I do not feel a huge difference from the 295/55r'20's I had before! I would like to do 5:13's but can't right now! It really could be worse which I thought! But highway passing just isn't fun!

I will post up some more data/thoughts after some more driving time. I did go against everyones advice but after driving a friends 2012 with 5.38's i decided it was the way to go. I am not
really concerned with my gas mileage but I will monitor it so that I can post some hard numbers for anyone that is interested. Oh, and I did use a ProCal to adjust for tire size and the gear
ratio.

When I first posted I had only driven around town so I thought the 4.10's would work great. Like you mentioned, after getting on the highway I realized that the stock gears just were not going to cut it. I am definitely loving the 37" Trail Grapplers!
