Here's my set up, and it works perfectly; and I wheel the shit out of my Jeep.
2" Rubicon Express budget boost -- comes with shocks and puck spacers
0"-2" Teraflex Quick Disconnects
33x12.50 BFG All Terrains
15" Soft 8's -- b/c they are 15" I had no choice but to do 3.75" backspacing. I hate how far they stick out past the fender flares. If I could go pack I would change my wheels to 16" with 4.5" backspacing.
This basic set up right here will allow you to do moderate wheeling, minor rock crawling, give you a nice stance, and maintain your stock components without having to worry about trackbar relocation or control arms, etc.
