Im getting a FREE RC 2.5 lift… use it?
I know that sounds goofy, but all Ive read, it seems like to stay away from it. Im getting it from a friend who ran it on his JKU until he went bigger.
So he is giving it to me.
I have a 12 JKUS, 3:73 , stock GY SRA 17"
This kit is the RC Series 2 Kit (around $130ish online), with spacers and brackets. NO SHOCKS, NO SPINGS
I was looking for a teraflex 2.5" lift with the coils for my lift, but getting this for nothing, should I go ahead and use it?
Now I have a few questions. And yes I will install myself, but this is the 1st Jeep lift I've ever done.
Would you still install a lift even if running factory 17 GY SRAs? Im afraid it would look goofy with stock tires, ... I can't do 33's right now
Are wheel spacers going to be needed? I wouldn't think so, but still
Anything with driveshaft needed to be done?
Hows the ride and quality of the lift?
What about sway bar line or longer ones? That is not part of the kit
As for off road use…maybe 1-2 times a month, otherwise, mainly regular driving.
thanks everyone, I should have it by this weekend

I have the teraflex 2.5 spacer lift, love it!! The ride is still the same as stock, right now I still have the stock tires on, it does look a little weird but soon I'll get the 33s
