You shouldn't use the jeep's mpg to tell. All you have to do is reset the trip when you fill up and when you fill up next divide the gallons put in by how many miles you traveled.

08 auto 2 door 3.73's 35's/3.5 lift. Using a superchips 87 performance tune. I average around 17-18 mpg highway and around 15-16 town. I travel a 120 round trip everyday with varied inclines and flat roads on the highway.

2010 4inch lift automatic with 35 tires. Mods dropped it to 13. Used Superchip flashpaq with 87 octane getting 17-18 city/highway combined. Fuel savings will pay for the programmer in time.
