lol... okay, if you have any intentions of going hydro assist and a V8 conversion, I strongly urge you to do the hydro assist and the V8 conversion at the same time. Even if you're not moving to large tires until later.

I have my V8 conversion done last year. My experience rock crawling with 35s demonstrated to me that when I move to 37s I was going to have some troubles steering. So I purchased the WTO kit. Getting the steering box out was hugely painful with the V8 in. The AC compressor (on a MoTech install) sits next to the steering box... it's in the way by about 1/2 inch. In the end, I had to remove my alternator and then the AC compressor in order to get the steering box out.

I should have just came up with the additional cash at the time of the V8 install to have MoTech install at least the WTO ported steering box.

Dang it. hahahaha...

No problem on a hemi swap. You just pull the steering box out the wheel well.

Yeah, I tried that. Couldn't get it out through the wheel well... the danged AC was still in the way.

It's done now, I just had to go the long way. hahahaha
