Default I want to replace my hood for more cooling

I am thinking about both Looks and preformance about dispersing heat from the engine compartment. New eng. Jasper 3.8 being installed now..I like the Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2018 Heat Dispersion vented hood, that DV8 makes. Any opinions? Thanks

One of the most vented hoods that I am aware of. Also consider the AEV hood. I say that with the absolute ease of their snorkel install (not necc for water fording) but cooler air intake (with the least air resistance on the market and ease of install without cutting up the body).

If unsure about overall appearances. Search your year model jeep and desired hood. Click images.
Best of luck.

Dinky,

Check out Total Innovations, they designed that hood. Their hood is heavier duty fiberglass unit and really well made. He, Alasha is a vendor and is here in Colorado.

And an AMERICAN MADE PRODUCT , beside Alan being an all around good guy too.

The Total Innovations hood is the original , and is much lighter than the steel Chinese copy (not a good copy either) the drainage is no where near effective either .

If you see them side by side you will choose the Total Innovations Hood .

Yeah, I saw that knock off at SEMA a few years back. Some Companies have no shame. The hoods aren't even close in quality.

Well, the reality is that most people's decision is made by their wallet. Also, most are going just for the looks, and when the price of "quality" is an extra ~$400....that's alotta lira. There's no doubt that the TOTL hood is better in every aspect, but I'd bet for every TOTL hood on a jeep, there's 10 knockoffs.

That's true.

For the most additional cooling at very low cost, consider this: https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/modi...trofit-235132/
