I want a Color Change -- Rescue Green to White
#11
I love my stone white 2010, I was thinking about trading for a 2011 rubi but the white on jeeps website is not stone white and looks weird. Your green looks sick! Leave it alone! Save the $3k on line x, save up a bit more and get another JK in white! I know $$$$, but in reality the grass always looks greener on the other side.
Just a peek.

I would vote to keep the Rescue Green. A good paint job to switch over to white would be very expensive to do right. You basically have to strip the entire Jeep down to get door jambs, engine compartment and the like. If you don't do that, you significantly reduce your resale value. If you REALLY want white, you are better off to trade for it.
Besides, Rescue Green is a great color! I get asked all the time if I had mine painted aftermarket by people who bought their Jeeps after the color was no longer offered.

I'm in the "Get a new one" camp. Went through the same thing with my '07 Sahara. It was Steel Blue. After about a year I got sick of the color. I think the painted fenders put me over the top. (At that point I didn't know how easy it was to change over to black fenders. ) I ended up getting a Silver X. Best thing I could have done. Much happier with the color and got rid of some of my '07 bugs.

Yeah you've gotta keep the rescue green man....Plus painting it will prob. kill your resale, especially if is herculined or something. A GOOD all around paint job, tub, roll bars, inner parts of the doors, exterior panels, etc, etc, will prob. be around 4K.
