Default I just regeared looking for help with Flashpaq

I am picking up my 2010 automatic 4dr tomorrow with 5.13 gears installed. From everyone's experience should I purchase the shift tunes for my flashpaq to adjust my shift schedule or can I leave it and just use one of the preloaded tunes (87 octane). Really looking forward to feeling the difference.

Thanks

On my 2dr 5:13's and 35's auto I used the 87 tune. To make the tire size input measure tire height and do not just use the label size of tire.

Don't worry about the shift points with your re-gear. Your computer uses the wheel speed sensors to properly shift. Just enter your tight tire size and your fine.

As stated above it goes by your tire size. That said I re-geared and found that my jk really started to hate the 87 tune. I'm now running the 93 tune (with 93 octane) and the engine runs a lot better. The difference in price a few bucks a week but to me its worth it.

^^^^ well kind of. My jeep hated the 87 program. The only one that seemed be good was the 91 octane/with 91 octane gas. Its very noticeable. I might have done 93 but 93 octane is sparse in my neck of the wood.
