ARE YOU ****ING KIDDING ME!!!! Yes i will say no many trucks have them anymore. When have you seen one of those trucks go better then a jeep. Not to mention its easier and cheeper to lift. They are easier to fix easy to work on. If jeep ever goes away from straight axle they are gonna kill its offroad capability.
Edit: I love my jeep as a daily drive but lets be honest aint that great for that. But when it comes to the week and time hit the trail it makes you forget about how it stinks on the road.

dude there are PLENTY of off road vehicles that dont have solid axles. Just look at all of those baja 4x4 vehickles. http://image.4wheeloffroad.com/f/306...a_bug_rear.jpg<img src="https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=547747"/>

Even Land Rover who prides them-self in trying to stay utilitarian admitted to finally caving in and going with split axles to please the "on road segment" of buyers. Like anything mechanical, it's all in the set up, like your alignment. Air pressure didn't cause your problem. A lack of main attendee and understanding your vehicle caused the problem. And the "solutions" on any forum are only as good as the description of the problem being provided. If you are t knowledgable to discuss all the facts, the responses you get may be improper or incomplete. Looking at your other threads you started, you don't have much understanding of vehicles to begin with. You my friend, need to find a solid mechanic and accept you have a 7 year old vehicle that has not been cared for. BTW, the rear tires, in another thread you posted just recently, look great as compared to the front. There's your first clue. Have your front end checked for worn out components, replace/repair as necessary, get an alignment and but new tires. Now, maintain your ride and the issues won't be as much of a problem. If you can't afford to maintain your ride, don't own it. Buy something else. Additionally, if you prefer the jeep, for all the mechanical wonder, stop complaining about it or go buy something that suits your preference on ride and suspension set up.
