EVO made a sweet rack for SEMA this year that bolted to the cage. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that EVO is working on a way to use the same rack with the top up/on. Maybe interchangeable mounting systems of some kind? EVO builds some amazing stuff...and they seem to really think through the engineering. Are you listening EVO? If you build it, I will come!

yes this is true. the one being discussed was designed with brackets that mounted to the JK's roll bars through the roof effectively transferring the load from the rack to the roll bars...not in prouction though

too bad these jeeps werent built like the classic military ones where the seats where much higher in comparison and we would be able to make racks for the hood
