Default Hypertech Question

Just got done searching through the posts and reading several of them but did not find the answer to a question I had.

Had to return the JK to stock programming before taking it in to the dealer this morning. Picked it up this afternoon and reprogrammed it back [Fuel type - Stock, Tire Size - changed, Gears - unchanged], except, I entered 34.25" for the tire size [realized later the actual size was 33.87"] . So the question is, if I want to go ahead and change the size down to 33.75" or 34" in the programmer, do I need to return the vehicle back to stock and then re-program it with the right size, OR, can I just plug it in, and go into programming and just change the value?

Figured I'd check and see if anyone had done this, and if so, how they went about it.

I believe from a post in another thread by Darnell, that you can just plug it up and change that part. You don't have to take it to stock and start over.

That is the way most current PCM programmers work including the Flashpaq and Procal that I own.

I you can't confirm fast enough on this forum, just give Hypertech a call.

Thanks for the responses folks. That's what I figured as well but thought I'd double check.
