I played around with some ideas with a non flipped DL, but didn't like how tight everything was going to be. FWIW, I run a hair over 2.5" bumpstop and never had issues with frame contact. These aren't the greatest pictures, but it'll give you an idea of how everything is packaged.

I agree the bumpstop minimum alot praise are a decent ballpark but not dead accurate as theres a few variables. I also ran around 2.5 with no problems on 35s

I'm mid istall on this and I'm not running a flip either. Not much our there to buy for this so I made my own bracket. Here are all the pieces. I'm pretty pleased with them considering they were all made with a cut-off wheel, hand drill, and a grinder.

And then all welded together and ready to be welded to the axle.

I am finishing the install this weekend, but here is how it currently sits.....

I have run this with and without a DL flip. I ran it for a while with RK 2.5" springs and 1.5" bumpstops. Run it now with DL flip and equivalent to 1.5" bumpstops and frame notch. It's tight and you will have to cycle it back and forth to find just where it fits. Can be done.

Thanks for all the replays. I've been playing around with it for the past few days and I've come to the conclusion that I'm gonna fab up my own bracket and push the ram closer to the driver side. I'll make sure I post up some pictures of the finished product. Thanks again

Hi ringer,
Would you mind posting a pic of your frame notch? Curious to see how you boxed it in.

Thanks!

It was pretty easy. I just built a filler panel from some 3/16" flat stock. Notched the frame up 1.5" and was running 1.5" bumps with 12" shocks. I don't have this setup anymore, but am about the same on bump position and frame notch still just barely clears drag link.

Here is at full bump with springs removed.
